NEIGHBOURGOOD

Credit unions do more than just banking. We’re teaching youth about financial literacy. We’re choosing to volunteer in our communities. And we support causes unique to the neighbourhoods around our branches.

Being an active part of the community it’s important that we ask ourselves the question: what does it mean to be a good neighbour? Well, we think it’s about celebrating the things that make our communities great and to give back to our neighbours.

At Legacy Financial we’re Making Money Make a Difference.

UPDATE:

We are committed to helping our members beyond just their banking needs.

We are a part of your communities, and we are all in this together. As the situation with COVID-19 evolves, so does the way we must respond. Beginning April 3, we will be introducing programs and supports for Albertans being affected by the current situation.

OUR PILLARS

GRASSROOTS GRANTS

Investing in our community is an investment in ourselves. Why? Because we’re your neighbours, our kids go to the same school, we sit alongside you on the bleachers. We share a community – let’s build on the things that make it great.

Our contributions come in all shapes and sizes and for kinds of needs. We’re committed to celebrating our communities so if you think you have an eligible cause, then we’d love to hear from you.

Check out our programs below:

1. STEPPING STONES GRANTS
2. ACT LOCAL GRANTS

Stepping Stones help people bring small acts of community to life.

These small grants (ranging from $100 – $600) encourage active citizenship by providing residents with funds to implement creative projects that benefit their local community.

This program is offered in partnership with the Calgary Foundation.
